 in response to Buck Creek...   Hi Buck no i am not a vet. and yes it is genetics. my Moms family is cursed with the rheumatoid arthritis. knots on the joints and the pain. no i have not done the pain meds Dr.'s will not give them to me. which i can understand the reasoning behind it, it is because it will make me feel better and use or overuse the knees and cause more damage. thank you for answering and talking to me hopefully i will be able to get the help i need. if not through an organization then through prayer. God has helped me thus far and he will not abandon me now. God is why i have made it this long without surgery. i know He will help me through. God does not put on you more than you can handle. i am 47 yrs. old and i have been suffering with knee pain since i was a teenager. doctors told me many years ago that i needed new knees,well needless to say i have not had the surgery done. now as with then i have no insurance and do not qualify for medicaid (my boyfriend makes to much money) and i am not able to work. I was hoping and praying that someone could tell me if there was someone or organization that might be able to assist me. Because if i had neww knees i could go back to work and that would be so great. i would love to go back to work if i could. anyways God bless and have a great day!
